NICU Registered Nurse - Syracuse, NY

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC charting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols and standards.
• Utilize specialized neonatal resuscitation techniques and life support measures as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear RN license.
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an RN in a NICU setting.
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week in a contract role of 16 weeks duration.
• Flexibility to wear any color scrubs while maintaining a professional appearance.

Contract Details:

• 16-week contract commitment.
• 36 hours per week.
• Local and travel rates available (travel rate applies outside a 50-mile radius).
