Registered Nurse - NICU - Verona, WI

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Level II or higher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Proficiency in caring for critically ill and premature infants, including advanced monitoring, medication administration, and respiratory support
• In-depth knowledge of neonatal resuscitation and excellent critical thinking skills
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required; BLS certification required
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support families

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment; specific shift details provided during the interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document the condition and development of newborn patients in the NICU
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered, ensuring precise and timely delivery of care
• Respond to emergencies swiftly, implementing life-saving interventions as needed
• Educate and support parents and caregivers, providing updates and guidance throughout the patient’s NICU stay
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare specialists to develop and execute patient care plans
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety, sanitation, and privacy protocols
