Step into a vital role supporting newborns and their families by providing compassionate care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment. This position calls for a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for neonatal nursing and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in a Level II or Level III NICU
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to neonatal patients
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Proficiency in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and providing family-centered care
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care for premature and critically ill infants
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes promptly
  • Administer medications, fluids, nutrition, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and ongoing stabilization of newborns
  • Provide education and emotional support to families during difficult times
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic medical records
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and regulatory standards
