Travel Registered Nurse - NICU in Winston-Salem, NC

Working here means being part of a team treating critical neonates ranging from 23-week preemies to surgical patients with complex needs (NEC, CDH, and more). Schedule/Hours:
• 7p–7a, 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call time
• Holiday coverage—expectation to work 75% of holidays
• Rotations scheduled every 6 weeks

Qualifications:
• Active RN license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience
• Confident with vent management, central line, tracheostomy, G-tube, pre/post-surgical, basic breastfeeding and feeding support
• Skills in blood transfusions, IV insertion on infants, gavage feeding management
• Experience using EPIC EMR

Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based NICU care to neonatal patients, including surgical and medically complex infants
• Effectively collaborate with pediatric teams and charge RNs
• Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hem/Onc
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support
