Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room setting required
  • Familiarity with perioperative nursing standards and protocols
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current and up to date)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with surgical and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists in the OR
  • Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes throughout the surgical process
  • Ensure accurate surgical counts, proper handling of sterile supplies, and precise documentation
  • Advocate for patients’ needs, comfort, and safety at all times
  • Participate in pre-op assessments and post-op evaluations as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory policies
