In this rewarding travel role, you’ll deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout all surgical phases—pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative—supporting patients of all ages. Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Valid Alaska RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1–2 years Operating Room experience
• Current BLS & ACLS (PALS preferred)
• National Certification in Surgery/PACU encouraged
• Proficient communication, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills
• Understanding of AORN standards and medical terminology

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care throughout surgical procedures
• Serve as a resource for perioperative best practices
• Educate patients and families as needed
• Supervise and support administrative and technical staff in cooperation with the Charge Nurse
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and age-appropriate care
