Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Albion, Michigan

Experienced registered nurses with a background in the Operating Room have an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic surgical environment. This role requires clinical leadership and advanced OR skills, supporting trauma and complex surgical cases.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts: 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
• Call: One call shift per week (9:00 pm – 7:00 am)
• Weekend call rotation: Every sixth weekend (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm – 7:00 am)

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience in a Level 2 or higher trauma Operating Room
• Proficiency in robotics, orthopedic trauma, and neuro surgical procedures required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical team setting
• Heart surgery experience not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Circulate and assist in trauma, neuro, orthopedic trauma, and robotic surgeries
• Provide clear communication with surgeons, anesthesia, technical staff, and patient families
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation throughout the perioperative process
• Delegate and supervise support staff while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Participate in resolving variances from patient goals and facilitate the implementation of effective solutions

$2,236 - $2,365/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
