Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Alexandria, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (OR)
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for various surgical procedures
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong critical thinking skills under pressure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain sterile fields and support optimal outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, intakes/outputs, and medication administration accurately
• Prepare the operating room and equipment according to case requirements and hospital protocols
• Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and comfort at all times
• Participate in surgical counts, instrument tracking, and supply management

$2,021 - $2,138/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
