Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Alpharetta, GA

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours; shifts may vary based on surgical volume

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of circulating and/or scrubbing experience in an Operating Room
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols
• Exceptional critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care throughout all phases of operative procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile field is maintained
• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases, including general, orthopedics, and specialties
• Monitor patient status and document surgical interventions accurately
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other staff to anticipate patient and physician needs
• Oversee supplies and instrument readiness, promptly addressing any issues
• Educate patients and families about perioperative processes as needed
• Comply with established safety and infection control policies
