Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Alpharetta, GA

Schedule/Hours:

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Nurse (RN-OR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated critical thinking and effective time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Ensure the accurate preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining sterile fields
• Document assessments, care provided, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Execute all nursing functions in compliance with hospital policies and best practices for safety and infection control
• Foster a culture of support, compassion, and professionalism throughout the perioperative experience
