Pediatric Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Alpharetta, GA

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room with a focus on both adult and pediatric patients. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN who is comfortable circulating and scrubbing in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to pediatric and adult patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Circulate and scrub during a variety of OR cases, ensuring safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Assess patient preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative status and respond promptly to changes
• Educate patients and families regarding the surgical process and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Solid experience in the Operating Room—circulating and/or scrubbing
• Pediatric OR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and in good standing
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations and work well within a dynamic team
• Previous contract or travel assignment experience is a plus

$2,263 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
