Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Antioch, TN

Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses specializing in Operating Room nursing to support a large, 1000+ bed hospital’s Main OR. Multiple openings are available for candidates seeking a dynamic contract opportunity in a complex surgical environment. This position is based exclusively in the Main Operating Room and emphasizes circulating experience in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma setting.

Schedule & Contract Details:

• Orientation start dates: 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 (six-month commitments required)
• Variable shifts available—days of the week vary per unit needs
• No block scheduling; late stays required as needed
• Participants must work at least two out of three holidays
• Excessive requests for time off cannot be accommodated

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active RN license (must be on file at the time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong circulating background; scrub experience not required
• Experience in large hospital OR settings, including hybrid rooms, is highly preferred
• Comfortable with all adult patient populations and service lines (excluding cardiac, transplant, and pediatric cases)
• Willingness to float within the Main OR as needed

Role Expectations:

• Deliver patient-centered care in a busy OR with inpatient, outpatient, and procedural suites
• Circulate for diverse surgeries including ortho, neuro, trauma, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, robotics, burn, and general cases
• Support efficient OR operations, including late stays for shift coverage or until cases conclude
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team in a 56-bed OR setting
• Adhere to stringent safety protocols and support the highest standards of perioperative practice

$1,941 - $2,123/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
