Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Arcata, CA

Necessary Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Recent TB clearance within the past 12 months
• Demonstrated experience as an OR Circulator or in the Operating Room setting

Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating RN during surgical procedures, maintaining patient safety and supporting the operative team
• Monitor and maintain sterile environments throughout all cases
• Document intraoperative care thoroughly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative transitions in accordance with protocols
