Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Arvada, Colorado

Step into a dynamic surgical environment as a Registered Nurse in a bustling main Operating Room featuring 16 advanced suites. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to work on the forefront of surgical innovation in a collaborative setting known for its commitment to patient care, continuous learning, and professional support.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts: 7AM – 7PM
• Includes night and weekend call

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Transplant surgical skills are essential for consideration
• At least 3 years of operating room nursing experience preferred
• National certification preferred
• Previous experience working with electronic medical records (EMR), especially Meditech, is advantageous

Experience & Skills:

• Solid background in surgical nursing, especially in transplant procedures
• Comfortable performing and assisting in a variety of surgeries, such as kidney and liver transplants, total joints, spine, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team
• Responsive, flexible, and reliable, especially during high acuity or on-call situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exemplary perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical suite
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to support safe, positive outcomes
• Remain up to date with evolving technologies and protocols
• Adhere to established guidelines and maintain compliance with all policies

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
