This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a dynamic surgical team in a busy hospital environment. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art facility known for advanced technology and longstanding staff expertise. The role is offered as a contract position, providing valuable experience alongside seasoned RNs and clinicians.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Night and weekend call required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license required
  • Must demonstrate a strong transplant skill set (kidney and liver)
  • Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience preferred
  • Specialty certification preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Meditech, is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver thorough and compassionate perioperative care for a diverse surgical population
  • Circulate and assist in a wide range of procedures, including total joints, spine surgery, transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastic surgeries
  • Support and enhance coordination between anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs
  • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and documentation protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations rapidly and professionally
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to ensure exemplary patient coverage, including call shifts
