Schedule:
- Day shift: 6:45am – 5:15pm
- Four days per week
- On-call rotation included
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
- Active, unencumbered RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Completion of an accredited nursing program with requisite clinical hours; 1+ years of direct patient care preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based OR patient care using the full nursing process
- Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and communicate quality care
- Document care accurately and timely, ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance
- Foster a patient- and family-centered care environment, adapting delivery to age, diagnosis, and cultural needs
- Mentor and support other clinical staff as preceptor or role model
- Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and professional development initiatives
