Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling based on surgical caseloads and facility needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • Minimum one year recent Operating Room nursing experience.
  • BLS certification (current and valid).
  • Proven ability to circulate and/or scrub in the OR.
  • Excellent critical thinking and verbal communication, reassuring patients and working efficiently under pressure.
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and commitment to following aseptic technique.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
  • Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure safe, effective surgery.
  • Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout perioperative phases.
  • Maintain strict compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Assist with surgical site preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling.
  • Support post-operative recovery and coordinate follow-up care instructions.
