Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Atlanta, GA

A leading ambulatory surgery center is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse for a three-month assignment. This position is ideal for professionals with robust experience in dynamic, high-volume settings such as outpatient clinics, urgent care, surgical centers, or emergency rooms. You’ll work alongside talented medical professionals, providing top-tier patient care and ensuring the highest standards of safety throughout surgical procedures.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with clear standing
• Substantial experience in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery environment
• Proven ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to fast-paced patient flows (managing up to 90 patients daily)
• Strong knowledge of sterilization and procedural safety protocols
• Demonstrated leadership in responding to medical emergencies
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and prioritization abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver preoperative and postoperative care in the OR setting
• Effectively manage patient flow and prioritize care in alignment with safety and quality standards
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, supporting physicians and the clinical team as needed
• Maintain and document meticulous records using appropriate technology and protocols
• Ensure consistent adherence to infection control and safety procedures
• Support patient education, comfort, and advocacy throughout the surgery process
