Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Aurora, CO

Step into an advanced surgical environment and make a meaningful impact supporting patient care in a dynamic operating room setting. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals using the latest medical technology in a 16-suite main operating room. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on a wide variety of progressive surgical procedures, including total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Includes night and weekend call coverage

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Strong transplant procedural experience (required)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Three or more years of operating room nursing experience (preferred)
• Certification in perioperative nursing (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for a range of complex surgical cases, emphasizing transplant, orthopedic, vascular, and robotic procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and integrated care teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection prevention, and surgical protocols
• Respond promptly and efficiently to intraoperative changes and emergency situations
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Participate in unit policy adherence and support continuous team improvement
