Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative care to surgical patients throughout all phases of the operative experience
- Circulate and scrub for procedures across multiple specialties, adapting quickly to shifting priorities
- Assist with patient assessment, documentation, preparation, and recovery
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists to support optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold strict adherence to infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols
- Respond effectively to urgent and emergent intraoperative situations
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license valid for practice
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (circulating and/or scrubbing)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required
