Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Avon, Colorado

Schedule/Hours

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (current and valid)
• Strong background and hands-on skills in orthopedic procedures
• Demonstrated ability to deliver individualized, family-centered care throughout the surgical process
• Commitment to collaboration with providers, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Must be located outside a 70-mile radius from facility

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for surgical patients
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment; support the surgical team during procedures
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families pre- and post-operation
• Monitor patient status closely, respond to changes, and document all relevant information
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary staff to achieve optimal outcomes
