Operating Room RN in Avon, CO

Schedule/Hours:

• Facility guarantees 36 hours per week out of 40.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN
• Strong, hands-on experience with orthopedic cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Deep commitment to compassionate, individualized patient care
• Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively within the surgical team
• Ability to work within a 70-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure patient safety and advocacy in fast-paced OR environments
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow nursing staff
• Monitor patients’ status and respond to changing conditions with swift, decisive action
• Maintain surgical asepsis, support infection control practices, and manage surgical instruments/equipment
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
