Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Avon, CO

Schedule/Hours:

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract assignment

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of current Operating Room nursing experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Closely monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes throughout surgical cases
• Act as an advocate for patient safety and comfort, maintaining clear communication with patients and their families
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to achieve best outcomes
• Uphold all policies, procedures, and established protocols for infection control and safety
• Document all patient care activities accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing educational opportunities
