Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Avon, CO

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes in a collaborative environment. Schedule & Hours:

• Guaranteed minimum 36 hours weekly of a possible 40-hour schedule

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating room procedures, with strong orthopedic surgery experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, individualized care for patients and their families
• Compliance with 70-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in an operating room setting
• Assume accountability for patient care, prioritizing safety and comfort throughout perioperative phases
• Maintain direct, supportive communication with patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and ancillary team members to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Participate in surgical site and patient verification, sterile field setup, instrument and equipment management, and patient positioning
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control policies and hospital protocols
• Accurately document patient observations, treatment plans, responses, and interventions
• Adapt rapidly to emergent situations with sound clinical judgment
