Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an Operating Room environment

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and continuous nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe, sterile environment
• Perform accurate patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation throughout the perioperative phase
• Prepare operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Act as a circulating or scrub nurse as assigned, anticipating needs of surgeons and maintaining compliance with all hospital policies
• Deliver compassionate support to patients and families, ensuring understanding of procedures and aftercare
• Participate in pre- and post-procedure briefings and debriefings
