Seeking an experienced professional with advanced surgical skills to support operating room teams at a Level 3 trauma center. This contract opportunity offers a unique chance to utilize your RNFA, PA, or SA certification (only these certifications are accepted; CST is not eligible) in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:30 shifts
  • Required call: 1 weekday per week
  • Additional call: 1-2 weekend days per month

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license or equivalent PA/SA certification
  • RNFA, PA, or SA certification required (must be current and valid)
  • Previous experience in an operating room/trauma setting highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols and best practices
  • Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance in the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient care
  • Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to facilitate efficient case flow
  • Oversee surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields
  • Anticipate needs of the surgical team and support patient positioning, prepping, and draping
  • Monitor patient conditions in accordance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
