Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification highly desirable
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the OR and assist in surgical procedures alongside surgeons and surgical techs
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards at all times
• Document care and progress accurately in electronic health records
• Support the implementation of physician orders and respond to emergencies as needed
• Coordinate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient outcomes
