Operating Room RN in Belvidere, IL

A healthcare facility in Belvidere, IL, is seeking a registered nurse with specialized operating room experience for a contract position. This role focuses on surgical services, requiring advanced skills in robotics and neuroscience procedures. Additional training will be provided for charge nurse responsibilities, enhancing leadership capabilities within the OR team.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with operating room experience

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred but not mandatory; training provided

Schedule:

• 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage only until Saturday at 7:00 AM
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered

Responsibilities:

• Assist and lead surgical teams in a high-acuity operating room environment
• Maintain safety standards and efficient workflow during robotic and neuro procedures
• Provide support during critical cases and cover charge nurse duties after training
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
