Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care during all phases of the surgical process: preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal workflow
• Document all care provided and patient assessments accurately
• Utilize advanced operating room equipment and technologies safely and efficiently
• Support patient advocacy and education before and after procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience as an Operating Room RN required
• BLS and ACLS certification (current)
• Proficiency with perioperative nursing and surgical instrumentation
• Superior organizational and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
