Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an OR RN
• Demonstrated knowledge of operative procedures, aseptic techniques, and perioperative patient care
• Proficient in monitoring patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in high-pressure scenarios
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field at all times
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for surgical patients
• Monitor patient safety, vital signs, and overall well-being during operative interventions
• Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures
• Document all patient care activities and update records accurately
• Adhere to hospital protocols and rigorous infection control standards
• Provide education to patients and families regarding perioperative care
