A Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room care is needed to provide exceptional perioperative nursing in a fast-paced surgical setting. This contract opportunity is located in Biddeford, ME, and offers a rewarding environment working with diverse surgical procedures and patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room, supporting surgeries including ENT, dental, facial plastics, trauma, cochlear implants, and complex head and neck cancer procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Provide care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to provided scrub policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and AORN certification preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and strong patient orientation.
• Previous experience in ENT, trauma, pediatric care, and plastics is essential.

Schedule:

• 36 to 40 hours per week, available shifts include 7 am–7:30 pm (36 hours) or 7 am–5 pm (40 hours).
• Occasional weekend or on-call shifts may be required.
