Experienced Registered Nurses with a background in operating room procedures are needed for a contract position supporting perioperative care. Multiple shift options are available, with a focus on providing comprehensive surgical nursing for a wide variety of patient needs, ranging from pediatric to geriatric cases. The role emphasizes the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma setting and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Schedule Options:

  • Four 10-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts per week
  • Typical hours: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm or 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Occasional weekends or call as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS certification preferred, but not required
  • AORN membership is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, and Level 1 trauma surgeries
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic and demanding environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric ages
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during surgical procedures including laryngoscopy, sinus and facial surgeries, trauma cases, cochlear implants, and cancer-related interventions
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain strict adherence to all facility and regulatory protocols
  • Effectively document care using EPIC EMR system
