Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Biddeford, Maine

With flexible scheduling options—choose from 4x10 or 4x12-hour shifts—you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team, utilizing the latest EPIC EMR and state-of-the-art equipment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10 or 4x12-hour shifts available
• Shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm (36 hours) or 7:00am–5:00pm (40 hours)
• Occasional weekend or call shifts required
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in an OR setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred; AORN certification a plus
• Experience with ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, and trauma Level 1 surgeries
• Team players able to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Caring for a patient demographic ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Flexible, patient-focused attitude essential

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Demonstrate expertise in procedures such as laryngoscopy, sinus and oral surgery, facial plastics and trauma, cochlear implants, and complex head and neck cancer surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs to deliver seamless care
• Safely document and update patient records in EPIC
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and all facility protocols
• Wear facility-provided scrubs; maintain professional appearance
