An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Operating Room procedures, specializing in Neuro/Spine cases. This contract position provides a chance to make a significant impact by delivering expert care to surgical patients in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology such as the DaVinci Robot and Max Face systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to Neuro/Spine surgery patients in the Operating Room with a 1:1 patient ratio.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize specialized equipment including the DaVinci Robot and other surgical technologies.
  • Maintain compliance with established protocols regarding dress code and patient safety.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed, with specifics discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, specifically in Neuro/Spine cases.
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association.
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system preferred.
  • Experience with DaVinci Robot, Max Face, or Orthopedic surgery considered a plus.
  • Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius of the home campus.
  • Professional demeanor aligning with dress code guidelines: navy scrubs, no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
