Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Birmingham, Alabama

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized skills in the Operating Room. Schedule/Hours:

• AM shifts available (choose from 4 days x 10 hours or 3 days x 12 hours per week)
• No on-call requirements
• One late stay per week required
• One weekend required each month

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with demonstrated OR experience
• Proficient in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and changing situations
• Commitment to high standards of patient safety and quality care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Collaborate actively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Maintain and ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and protocols
• Document all aspects of patient surgical care accurately and promptly
• Participate in late shifts and weekend rotations per scheduling requirements
• Provide support in emergency surgical cases and maintain readiness at all times

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
