Pediatric Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Bonaire, Georgia

Step into an important role supporting surgical care and pediatric patients in a dynamic operating room environment. This contract opportunity focuses on leveraging your expertise as a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative and pediatric nursing care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Additional shift details: 0700 – 1730 (10-hour shifts)
• On-call rotation: 1 weeknight on call and call back, and call duty every 5th weekend
• Weekend rotation: On call every 4th weekend
• Holiday assignment: Required to work 75% of holidays
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in the Operating Room as an RN
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• BLS certification (additional certifications recommended)
• Strong organizational, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical and pediatric care team
• Experience in high-acuity surgical cases preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre, intra, and post-operative care to surgical and pediatric patients
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout perioperative procedures
• Monitor patient safety and critical indicators during surgical interventions
• Educate patients and families on perioperative care processes
• Document patient status and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to established protocols and infection control guidelines
• Respond to on-call situations as scheduled, ensuring availability during assigned weeknight and weekend periods

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
