- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
- Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for a wide variety of surgical procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable adapting to fast-paced clinical settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care before, during, and after surgery
- Prepare the OR, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready
- Partner closely with surgical teams to maintain aseptic technique and uphold patient safety standards
- Act as a patient advocate, maintaining comfort, privacy, and dignity
- Monitor vitals and patient responses during procedures, intervening promptly when necessary
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and outcomes in patient records
- Participate in room turnover and assist with restocking supplies as needed
