Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years in inpatient surgery
- Proven trauma experience at a Level 1 trauma center required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Competency in at least five services relevant to operating room nursing
- Positive, adaptable mindset with excellent communication abilities
Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Workdays Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care in the operating room, supporting surgical teams in trauma and inpatient procedures
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality
- Maintain readiness to respond to trauma cases with professionalism and clinical expertise
- Uphold high standards of patient advocacy and interprofessional communication
