Schedule:

  • Facility guarantees 36 hours each week of the 40-hour schedule

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
  • Strong background in orthopedic surgical procedures
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively with providers, team members, and ancillary staff
  • Must comply with a 70-mile radius rule for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, individualized care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring safety and well-being throughout the perioperative process
  • Support and communicate with patients’ families, maintaining an atmosphere of empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor patient condition, respond promptly to changes, and document care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards
  • Uphold infection prevention, sterile technique, and facility protocols at all times
