Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Breckenridge, CO

Step into a vital role delivering high-quality care within the Operating Room. Working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow staff, you'll ensure the best possible outcomes for patients undergoing operative procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (facility guarantees at least 36 of the 40 scheduled hours)

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an OR RN
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong background in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Must comply with a 70-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical cases, including orthopedic procedures
• Provide safe, comprehensive, and individualized nursing care for patients and their families during pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative phases
• Collaborate effectively with providers, surgical teams, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgment during high-pressure situations
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to physicians and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and policies
