Experienced perioperative nurses have an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional care in the operating room environment. This contract position is designed for Registered Nurses with a robust background in the OR, particularly those with strong orthopedic surgical experience.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively with providers, surgical staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients and their families during the surgical experience
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs
  • Maintain accountability for patient safety and quality of care during all perioperative phases
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members
  • Deliver compassionate, detail-oriented nursing in a fast-paced surgical setting
  • Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and perioperative standards
  • Support patients and families through the surgical process, communicating clearly and compassionately

Additional Details:

  • Candidates must adhere to a 70-mile radius rule
