Surgical Unit RN - Bristol, Connecticut

Step into a dynamic role supporting surgical teams and patient care in the operating room. This position requires expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an Operating Room environment, where your attention to detail and clinical knowledge make a direct impact on patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN licensure
• Clinical experience in the Operating Room, including circulating and/or scrubbing
• Proficiency with OR protocols, sterile techniques, and emergency response procedures
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Familiarity with electronic healthcare records and documentation standards
• BLS and ACLS certification (as required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the OR
• Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure effective and safe surgical operations
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control practices
• Accurately document surgical procedures and patient responses in medical records
• Provide patient and family support, education, and communication throughout the perioperative process
