Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Bronson, MI

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent perioperative care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours with variable shifts (days/evenings/weekends as assigned)

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be valid)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment and multitask efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical procedures
• Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to provide safe patient care
• Accurately document procedures and patient status in records
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Provide support throughout the pre-op and post-op periods
• Uphold infection control and quality assurance standards at all times
