Operating Room RN in Bronson, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license, in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an OR setting
• Demonstrated expertise in perioperative nursing including scrubbing and circulating duties
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proficiency in electronic health records and surgical documentation
• Strong understanding of surgical asepsis, infection control, and surgical instrumentation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and sterile
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
