Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (New York state or compact eligible)
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Scrubbing and circulating experience strongly preferred
- Excellent critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care, including scrubbing and circulating
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure seamless procedures
- Maintain surgical asepsis and adhere to infection control protocols
- Monitor and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare the operating room and equipment in advance of surgeries
