Step into a dynamic surgical environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, delivering care to patients from pediatric through geriatric ages. In this contract position, you will collaborate with a dedicated perioperative team and handle a diverse array of procedures including laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics, trauma, cochlear implants, oral and head/neck surgeries.

Schedule Options:

  • Choose between 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts
  • Typical start time: 7am (shift lengths vary)
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Occasional weekends or call may be required

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and AORN certification preferred but not required
  • Strong background in ENT, Dental, Plastics, Pediatric, and Trauma Level 1 care
  • Comfortable using EPIC EMR
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care throughout perioperative phases
  • Assist in advanced ENT, dental, and trauma cases with high technical demands
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain excellent documentation and uphold quality care standards
  • Demonstrate adaptability with flexible scheduling and team-centered approach
