Schedule:

• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM shifts
• Call required: One weekend per month, approximately 7 days monthly
• Full-time travel assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact states
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• One year of operating room nursing experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and complex patient care independently, demonstrating clinical judgment in the operating room environment
• Continually develop contingency planning skills and adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations
• Delegate appropriately to maximize care quality and manage workflow efficiently
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and adjust care accordingly
• Thoroughly document patient histories, medications, and care interventions
• Anticipate psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, offering education and support
