As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room on this travel assignment, you’ll engage with advanced surgical procedures and expand your skillset with specialized cases. Exposure to vascular, reconstructive plastics (including DIEP flaps/microsurgery), robotics (Bariatric, GYN, General, Colorectal), and total joint orthopedics will set you apart as a confident, adaptable clinician. Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Previous Operating Room experience required
- Skilled in vascular surgery and plastics reconstructive cases preferred
- Experience with robotics-assisted procedures (Bariatric, GYN, General, Colorectal) highly valued
- Familiarity with orthopedic total joint surgeries is a plus
- BLS and ACLS certifications (as required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub during advanced surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to maintain patient safety
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status, responding quickly to changes
- Document care accurately and promptly in patient records
