Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Burnsville, MN

Step into a vital surgical support role as a registered nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract opportunity offers a chance to deliver exceptional patient care and collaborate with a skilled surgical team for a 13-week duration.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Day shifts begin at 7:00 AM with occasional 10:30 AM start times

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota RN license or temporary MN RN permit required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative (Operating Room) nursing experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative surgical environment

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical technologists, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Circulate for and scrub into a variety of surgical cases as needed
• Implement standard perioperative protocols and aseptic techniques
• Monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after surgery, providing careful documentation throughout
• Respond effectively to any perioperative complications or emergencies
• Support patients and families with information and compassionate care related to surgical procedures
