Advance your career working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room with a rewarding contract opportunity. This position requires dynamic OR expertise, collaborating with dedicated surgical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (fixed)
    • Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
    • Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Call required (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays)
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Start date: Immediate

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIHSS certification
  • At least 2 years of recent RN-OR experience, including Level I or II trauma cases
  • Minimum 1 year of recent travel assignment experience
  • Proven experience with ortho, trauma, and robotics procedures
  • Completion of a skills checklist upon submission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of complex surgical procedures, especially ortho, trauma, and robotic cases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain optimal patient safety
  • Monitor patients’ vitals and assist with pre- and post-operative care within the OR setting
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving in emergent situations
  • Uphold the highest standards of infection control, documentation, and patient advocacy
