Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (fixed)
- Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Call required (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays)
- 13-week contract assignment
- Start date: Immediate
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- At least 2 years of recent RN-OR experience, including Level I or II trauma cases
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel assignment experience
- Proven experience with ortho, trauma, and robotics procedures
- Completion of a skills checklist upon submission
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of complex surgical procedures, especially ortho, trauma, and robotic cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain optimal patient safety
- Monitor patients’ vitals and assist with pre- and post-operative care within the OR setting
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving in emergent situations
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control, documentation, and patient advocacy
