Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Carthage, NY

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in perioperative protocols and sterile technique
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to respond calmly in high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to changes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, providing direct support to surgeons and surgical teams
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to the procedure type
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and documentation standards
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teammates to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate education and emotional support to patients and families pre- and post-operation

$2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
