This opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses experienced in general operating room procedures. Your background with both scrubbing and circulating in diverse surgical specialties—such as Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Panc/Bili, and Surgical Oncology—will be highly valued. With over 820 staffed beds and exposure to advanced technologies including five surgical robots, you’ll enhance your skills and build an impressive resume. This role also offers on-call rotations, ensuring a mix of challenging cases and flexible downtime to discover historic downtown Charleston, the Intracoastal Waterway, and world-class cuisine.
Key Schedule & Hours
- 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday (6:30am – 7:00pm)
- 5-8 on-call shifts per month (including weekends and potential holidays)
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Active SC or Multi-state RN license (in hand by start date)
- Minimum 2 years’ recent OR nursing experience, including both scrubbing and circulating
- Demonstrated proficiency in Gen OR cases; experience in Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, MIS, Panc/Bili, Surg Onc highly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Ability to obtain agency-provided radiation badge
