Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Charlotte, North Carolina

Experienced RN professionals with a background in the Operating Room are invited to take on an exciting contract opportunity supporting surgical teams and delivering exceptional patient care. Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an Operating Room RN (OR RN)
• BLS certification required; additional perioperative certifications a plus
• Strong knowledge of operating procedures, sterile techniques, and surgical equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled perioperative care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room and maintain a safe, sterile environment for patients and staff
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, report changes, and respond to emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to ensure seamless care
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, counting and tracking as necessary
• Support patient advocacy and maintain the highest standards of safety and infection control
• Document all aspects of care thoroughly and accurately in accordance with facility protocols

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
