Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Chelsea, MI

Schedule:

• Shifts: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Call requirements: One call per week (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every sixth weekend (Saturday/Sunday, either 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of circulating experience in a Level 2 or higher trauma OR
• Strong background with robotics, as well as orthopedic trauma and neuro procedures
• No heart surgery experience necessary
• Ability to provide leadership and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Employ the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in all aspects of patient care
• Coordinate and provide compassionate, skilled care in the operating room setting
• Delegate, supervise, and document care provided to patients and families, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Communicate patient status and pertinent information clearly to physicians, teammates, and families
• Participate in the identification and implementation of solutions to variances from patient goals
