Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Chugiak, AK

Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts as needed
• 13-week assignment
• On-call required, averaging 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every 8 weeks (call shifts may vary each month)

Desired Experience & Required Qualifications:

• Current, active Alaska RN license (required for submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least one year of recent OR circulating experience; scrub RN experience a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotic procedures
• Comfortable with 1:1 patient ratios in a high-acuity, 11-OR environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• CNOR certification (preferred but not required)

Role Responsibilities:

• Circulate and advocate for surgical patients during procedures
• Serve as a primary resource for sterile field management
• Collaborate with dedicated interdisciplinary teams, including RNs, scrub techs, and surgical support staff
• Utilize a variety of advanced OR beds/equipment and document in Epic EMR
• Participate in call rotations as specified
• Uphold a responsive and adaptable approach to workflow in support of both routine and complex cases
