Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Clayton, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract assignment
• Day and evening shifts available
• Weekend and on-call rotation may be required

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an OR/Operating Room RN
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current and up to date)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Excellent assessment, communication, and technical OR skills
• Proven ability to function efficiently under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub on a wide variety of surgical cases
• Prepare the operating room, ensuring aseptic technique and instruments are ready
• Assist surgeons and fellow nursing staff throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in patient records
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and hospital policies
• Provide support, comfort, and communication to patients and their families

$2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
