Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • ACLS required upon hire (or active BLS with plan to obtain ACLS in 60 days)
  • Previous operating room nursing experience and CNOR certification strongly preferred
  • Exceptional multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strict aseptic technique; ensure correct handling of sterile supplies and instruments
  • Confirm patient identification and surgical site accuracy before procedures

  • Provide thorough documentation of interventions, outcomes, and patient responses
  • Prioritize patient needs, respond swiftly in emergencies, and delegate tasks as appropriate
  • Lead and support professional education and compliance initiatives
