Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license (unencumbered)
• BLS Certification required
• Previous Operating Room (OR) experience preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Skilled at working collaboratively and adapting to changing environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess surgical patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure patient safety before and during procedures
• Implement and continually evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process, making individualized adjustments as needed
• Provide direction and leadership to the operating room team, supervising activities, anticipating and coordinating schedule changes, and assisting with equipment and anesthesia as necessary
• Maintain focus on sterile field integrity and coordinate supply and equipment setup for each case
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and surgical team members
• Participate actively in ongoing staff education, preceptorships, and continuing professional development opportunities
