Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Clovis, California

Deliver expert perioperative care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This opportunity allows you to utilize your clinical expertise in a dynamic surgical environment. As an OR RN, you will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, patient-focused care throughout all phases of surgery.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (specific schedule details provided upon interview).

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Demonstrated experience in the Operating Room setting.
• Proficient with OR protocols, sterile technique, and instrumentation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in various surgical procedures, maintaining a safe environment.
• Prepare operating rooms by arranging equipment and verifying sterilization.
• Monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after operations.
• Act as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists.
• Accurately document procedures, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing educational and training opportunities related to perioperative care.
