Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable shifts, including possible evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures
  • Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative evaluation
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and infection control standards
  • Document procedures and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during surgical procedures
  • Assist with patient positioning, surgical counts, and instrument management as needed
